A tick bite can cause Lyme disease
If you work in verges along motorways, in public gardens, in gardens and on wasteland, you are working in tick-sensitive places. At Rovince we know that there is an increased chance of a tick bite, with Lyme as a possible result.
Employer's duty of care
Because you, as an outdoor worker, run an increased risk of a tick bite and therefore Lyme, you must be prepared for this. After a tick bite, Lyme can possibly lead to many more serious illnesses and/or incapacity for work. You, but especially your employer, must be well aware of this and protect you in advance by wearing our certified, custom-made, ZECK-Protec tick-resistant clothing. This clothing is mainly intended for professional use and significantly reduces the chance of a tick bite and Lyme.
The fact that our clothing is certified against tick bites and Lyme is particularly important. If you wear non-certified clothing, you are not assured of your safety and you run a greater risk of damaging your health.
