Need for tick-resistant clothing

From there they move on to passing animals, but also to people. Because ticks can transmit Lyme disease to people, you want to avoid a bite at all times. The patented, active substance ZECK-Protec uses the so-called "hot feet effect": when ticks come into contact with the impregnation, the sensitive nerve endings of their sucking feet become hot. As a protective reaction, the tick curls up and falls off the clothing.
